Eight Female BNC inputs to 15 Pin Male Connection Notice the PIN pattern of the 15 pin connector in this picture, three rows of pins with 5 pins on each row. (there are others cables out there similar to this cable that have 15 pins, with all the pins on two rows, not three) Make sure this pattern matches the pattern your looking for before purchasing. This is a no return item. The 15 pin connector is a MALE connector. It has pins sticking out. Not 15 holes which would make it a female. The BNC is a FEMALE with a hole in the center. Not a pin sticking out in the center which would make it a male. The BNC end of these cables have yellow tags on them. They are numbered 1 through 8. Pin 1 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #1 Pin 2 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #2 Pin 3 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #3 Pin 4 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #4 Pin 5 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #5 Pin 6 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #6 Pin 7 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #7 Pin 8 on the 15 pin connector connects to the center of the BNC connection #8 Pins 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 are not used in this cable Pin 15 on the 15 pin connector connects the outer sleeve (Negative) of all 8 BNC connectors That is, all sleeves on this cable and pin 15 are all tied together (Common) This cable is normally used to connect cctv cameras to a DVR card similar to the image shown below. The DVR CARD is NOT included in this purchase. You are buying one cable with eight inputs. (EXAMPLE PICTURE) If your DVR card has two 15 pin inputs because it's a 16 channel DVR the you would need two of these cable. Note that these cables are labeled 1 through 8. There is no 9 through 16 tags on these cables, so on your second DVR card cable 1 would actually be camera input # 9, Cable 2 would actually be input #10, Cable 3 would actually be input #11 and so on........ This item is being sold as is. We don't have the time to test each one of them. We can not guarantee that they work. We can not and will not replace one that is delivered with a bad input or any other problem. This scenario has never happened but we want to make sure up front that you understand your risk in purchasing this item.
